The Rasta Keel from Future Fins was designed by Australian free-surfing icon Dave Rastovich, as he developed his own refinements to the classic keel design.
Incorporating a layer of natural fiber jute there is an undeniable organic aesthetic, while increasing the stability of the base and leading edge.
Rasta is known for riding alternative boards and this is his go-to fin for down the line speed in any twin fin that suits a keel fin.
Geometry
High area and depth, with low sweep (rake) than most traditional, wider based keels. Flat foil warrants a more conventional tow position.
Material
Honeycomb.
The hexagonal foam core mat in these fins reduces the resin content, making the fin lighter while keeping the fin stiff where it counts. This gives these fins a medium flex pattern making them a great all around performer. From mushy beach breaks to pumping reef points, honeycomb fins are the standard when it comes to upgrade fins.
Ideal Conditions
A wide range of conditions from beach breaks to point breaks, Ideally suited to smaller, weaker waves.
Board Types
Recommended for all board types including fish, funboard and twin fin boards.
Size
Large (75Kg - 90Kg / 165 - 200 Lbs)
