Morphing the elegant form of the SB series toward the dimensions of a funboard has produced a model with the sensitivity of a shortboard coupled with exceptional wave catching ability.
The wide point has been edged forward to promote a fuller nose while the rocker has been reduced minimally to enhance flow and increase speed. Despite the added thickness, the rails remain finely tuned to ensure that positive line through arcs.
Produced with a five fin option, this is a simple yet very popular model.
Construction Material
PU
PU (Polyurethane) refers to the type of foam core which has been traditionally used in the manufacture of surfboards since the late 40's and early 50's.
This core has been glassed with polyester resins to produce surfboards of varying size and weights.
PU is still the most common form of construction as it offers a familiar feel and performance for most surfers.
