We’re proud to be part of a community that works hard to keep Papatūānuku smiling, and we’re stoked that Aotearoa takes sustainability seriously too. So this Plastic Free July, we want to reward you with a little giveaway. 

The ocean plays a huge part in every Kiwi’s life. For some it’s their haven, others it’s where they gather kai for the family. No matter what the ocean means to you, it’s essential that we take care of it.

Yet, on any given day, on any beach, you will find plastic. Microplastics, macro-plastics, hard, soft, and everything in between. It’s heartbreaking. We can’t lose faith but we can keep doing our best to keep it clean - and that’s where the giveaway comes in.

Clean up your local beach and you could *win a Patagonia Torrentshell 3L jacket, a Raglan Block Hoodie, two locally made Plastic Free Raglan reusable cups and a few blocks of Matuna’s organic wax. That’s about $400 worth of motivation! Heck, we’ll even chuck in a couple of stickers and a Plastic Bag Free Raglan tote. 

What you need to do

• Head to the beach, and pick up as much rubbish as you can.
• Take a photo of the rubbish (then kindly take it to your local recycling centre or put it in the appropriate bins).
• And last but not least, make sure you’re following us on Facebook and/or Instagram, share the photo to your Instagram or Facebook wall and be sure to tag us in it. For extra brownie points you can tag Plastic Free Raglan and Xtreme Zero waste too.

We’ll pick the winner on the 31st, so you’ve got the rest of the month to get busy!
